Those who have a Logbook and Blue Wave Boarding are entitled to send one Bottle Mail with Dennis on the Vega af Bergkvara. The bottles will be put into the ocean at different locations. Dennis will report by satellite where and when the bottles went into the sea.Read in the Forum when and where your bottle was put overboard. Contact your local Meteorological Institute and ask weather and ocean currents for that place and time. (In Sweden, contact SMHI Sjöfart)
The first packets of bottle mail were loaded on the Vega during her farewell trip along Sweden's coast, in June 1995. Further bottle mail will be brought by courier to the Vega during her voyage. Bottles shall be send by airmail to Globetree, Bergsgatan 2, 112 23 Stockholm, Sweden.
Latest dates for bottle mail:To be handed over near New Zealand, 1st December 1995.
To be handed over near the Falklands Islands, 1st February, 1996
To be handed over at New York, 1st May 1996
To be handed over in England, 1st June 1996
To be handed over in Sweden, from 1st August 1996 onwards to 30st May 1997
